If Arthur was a Jerk

Was wären seine Gedanken, was sein Antrieb? Dieser Song spielt genau mit diesem Gedanken – ein düsteres Märchen.

What if Arthur had been a jerk? What if Camelot and its power had fallen into the wrong hands? Luckily, something like that could never happen — a fool on the most powerful throne?! Or could it…?

What would his thoughts be? What would drive him? This song plays with that very idea — a dark fairy tale.

Shared Hearts (Ft. Lilly Seth)

[Verse 1]
A widow had two daughters
Two cheerful children
She named them after rose-trees
Which stood in her garden

[Verse 2]
Snow White was quiet and gentle
She looked after their home
Rose Red was wild and bright-eyed
Where cold winds blew she’d roam
And they would say:

[Pre-Chorus]
We will not leave each other
Never so long as we live
For you, my life I would give
And hence spoke the mother:
What one has
She must share with the other

[Chorus]
Oh sister, my sister
Your heart beats in my chest
If you are in peril
I can’t come to rest

Longing for the Sea

[Verse 1]
On a dark night
Waves caressed the white sand
On the Shetlands
Long ago

[Verse 2]
Seal skins
Lay there in the white sand
From the mermaids
Who had taken them off

[Verse 3]
A young lad passed and
They fled into the sea
All mermaids but one
From whom he stole the skin
So she would stay with him

[Pre-Chorus 1]
Since she had no other place to go
She followed him, from home away
She said „I do“ but she didn’t know
Her only wish would increase day by day

[Chorus 1]
Oh, I’m longing for the sea
More than I want to bе with you
Dive into the endlеss blue
Dreams about freedom
Only in my fantasy
Oh, I’m longing for the sea

Drop a Stitch

[Verse 1]
Quickly, dear, take out the breads!
Shake the pillows, make the beds!
Shake the apples off the tree!
’cause Mother Hulda wants to see me

[Pre-Chorus]
Doing things a good girl does
It’s not something I ever was
Doing things a good girl does

[Chorus]
In your eyes, I drop a stitch
With everything that I do
But I won’t bow down to you
Even if you cover me with pitch
Even if you call me a –

Oh, you should enrich
Your mind and switch
With me
Then you will see
It is not your life I chose to live
And I’d rather burn than give
In to you

Never-Ending Waltz

Cold blowing wind
In the moonlight
It’s twelve after midnight
And I’m here alone

We were dancing a waltz
In the ballroom
I wish that the time
Had never gone by

You left, but I’ll find you
Trust me, my love is true
You are the one that I’ve
Always been dreaming of

Everywhere I will go
And I know
The glass slipper will lead
Me to you

Cold blowing wind
Snow is falling
In vain I am calling
A name I don’t know

We’re still dancing a waltz
In my thoughts
And my head’s in a whirl
Enchanted by you

You belong to me

[Intro]
You belong to me

[Verse 1]
The jolly sound
Of chiming bells
Where has it gone?
Now I’m a bird
Trapped in your cage
What have I done?
And you say:

[Pre-Chorus]
I’m your prince –
You better be my princess
Lie beside me
Give me your sweet kiss
Don’t play coy, you want it too!
I suffocate because of you

[Verse 2]
My little bird
Your eyes reveal
You’d fly away from me
But I always get
The things I want
That’s what you
Fail to see, my dear
And you say:

The Court Jester

[Verse 1]
At court, his words were widely known
To be the wisest of the day
The court jester had always shown
The truth that no one dared to say

A jolly man he was, indeed
Yet, carefully his speech he chose
He entertained the king and queen
But naked truth covered his prose

[Pre-Chorus]
Examining his environment
The people and the kingdom’s land
The mirror image in his hand
Oh, finally, he could understand

[Chorus]
Nothing is what it seems
Nothing is what it used to be
Through the magnifying glass

Nothing is what it seems
Nothing is what it used to be bеfore
Through the magnifying glass
May reason guidе you on your path

Rising of the Sun

Invisible bars
Cold as ice
Lock me inside this tower
The evil witch
Keeps me imprisoned
Her power
Is strong enough to keep
My parents away
Won’t there be anyone to
Save me one day?

Invincible bars
Made of height
Can’t escape from this tower
The evil witch
Won’t let me go
And I doubt that
There’s anyone who will
Release me
And so I dwell here
I will never be free
(Rapunzel, Rapunzel)

Hush – who is there?
I will let down my hair!
You heard my prayer
Hold on to my long hair!

Falling Stars (Ft. Stimmgewalt)

The streets were called her home
She lived there all alone
Her bread was nearly gone

Yet, humble was her heart
’twas made of gold and warmth
One fateful day, she needed to depart

And the stars were bright
On this winter night
Like one hundred thousand lanterns
Guiding lights above

Oh, the stars were bright
On this winter night
And one hundred thousand memories
Fillеd her heart with endlеss love

The stars would guide her way
To a man starving for days
She gave her bread away

Four children, barely clad
They looked piteously sad
To give them her last clothes
Made her glad

Shadows Of Our Yesterdays

Prologue:
What will you do if no one
hears your screams?
What will you do if you don’t
wake up from this dream?

The spruces stand in silence
The oaks don’t say a word
knowing the answer
that you’ll have never heard

“It’s so dark
I feel cold
Oh, my brother,
why can’t we go home?
Why is no one here with
you and me?”

Prechorus:
“They stole the sun
that guides our way for us,
my little sister
Now we’re wandering under
lightless skies

Chorus:
We are lost in here
Never we’ll find our way home
Our way home
In a maze of branches, roots
and leaves, all alone
All alone

They broke our trust,
lied to us
Words turned into
transient dust
They’re nothing now
but shadows
of our yesterdays”

“Leafless boughs
Lifeless wood
Brother, yet I haven’t
understood
why all these breadcrumbs
lead to nothingness”

Prechorus

Chorus

“When we’ll have found
our way out
We’ll remember how they
made us bleed
A friend in need’s
a friend indeed”

What will you do if no one
hears your screams?
What will you do if you don’t
wake up from this dream?

Chorus 2x

Shadows of our yesterdays

Mirror On The Wall

Be blessed, dear huntsman
You know me well
The king chose me
and I became his new queen

In my new kingdom,
peasants and noblemen
know of my beauty
that no one ever will reach

Prechorus:
Yet there’s someone
that tries to outdo me

Chorus:
Her hair as dark as ebony,
her lips as red as blood and
her skin as pale as winter’s snow
that lay here seven years ago

But, in the mirror, all I’ll see
is my reflection, only me!
I am the fairest – she can’t stay
I will destroy what’s in my way!

You see, dear huntsman:
I need your help
Only her death is
(to my immortal beauty)
the key

Deep in the forest
where daylight’s never seen
Follow her! Get her!
Kill her! Don’t let her flee!

Prechorus:
Then bring me her lungs
and bring me her liver

Chorus 2x

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who’s the fairest one of all?

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who’s the fairest of them all?

Chorus 2x:
Her hair as dark as ebony,
her lips as red as blood and
her skin as pale as winter’s snow
that lay here seven years ago

Still, in the mirror, all I see
is her reflection, never me!
I am the fairest – she can’t stay
I will destroy what’s in my way!

Oh, Snow White,
into the apple you shall bite
I wish you a bittersweet
goodnight

Lullaby For The Undead

In a kingdom far away
when I was born,
a feast was made
The wicked fairy cast a spell
on me, they had to protect me well

Cautiously through the world I went
But still, the spindle stung my hand
Now, roses and hedges of thorns separate
the world of the living
from the undead

Prechorus:
Oh, I feel
I’m stuck in between
Silently screaming to you
I need you to

Chorus:
Wake me up or let me leave
Why am I still sleeping?
Wake me up or let me leave
Why am I still dreaming?

Wake me up or let me leave
Why am I still sleeping?
Wake me up or let me leave
Why am I still dreaming?

You promised to find me here
Yet, I have been waiting for years
wandering, lingering in loneliness,
waiting for your releasing kiss

So when – at last – you’re here
make my suffering disappear
If I can’t live, then let me die
and sing me my last lullaby

Prechorus:
For so long,
I’ve been stuck in between
Silently screaming to you
I need you to

Chorus

I’m undead
I’m undead

Chorus

Wake me up or let me leave

Hamelin

Once upon a time,
in a town called Hamelin,
uninvited guests appeared
and took the people’s bread

A plague it was soon called
in the town of Hamelin
Then a wondrous man claimed
he could release them
and they said:

Prechorus:
“Help us, our town
is suffering, behold!
Your reward will be
a bag full of gold!”

He listened and saw
the fear in their eyes
and his pipe sang:

Chorus:
“Come follow me
Into the river I’ll lead ye
My melody
will soon free Hamelin of
all ye rats, oh

Come follow me”

Out of every corner
they came in Hamelin
One after another
the flood took them away

Prechorus

Chorus

“Away, you rat-catcher
No penny we’ll give to you!”

“You’ll regret that you
broke your word …

Chorus:
Come follow me
Into the mountain I’ll lead ye
My melody
Will soon free Hamelin of
all ye children

Come follow me
My song will guide you
into the darkness
Come follow me
into the dark”

Sheherazade

Shahry?r,
the great king,
had a wife who served not him
Oh, unfaithful was her mind

The Persian king
had been betrayed
and his heart, it fell apart
into a thousand pieces
forevermore

Prechorus:
“From now on
bring me a bride
for one day and one night
and when the sun begins to rise:

Come what may,
take her life away
Let me see how she dies
‚cause

Chorus:
No love is left in me
Now for eternity
Only their company
will fill my emptiness inside”

Suddenly,
a woman came
to put an end to Shahry?r’s pain
Sheherazade was her name

In one thousand and one nights
his heart’s one thousand pieces could find
to each other by her tales

Prechorus:
“From now on
stay by my side
for another day and another night
and when the sun begins to rise:

Come what may,
don’t go away
Tell me stories with which time flies
‚cause only

Chorus 2x:
You give love to me
Now for eternity
Only your company
will fill my emptiness inside

Sheherazade, my shining light
Sheherazade, you shine so bright”

“I’m here
I’ll be with you for another
one thousand and one nights”

??? ???? ?????
(1001 nights)
